Our Plants
Grown locally, seed sourced native species that are strong and thrive into the future.
Podocarpus laetus
Features longer juvenile leaves and thin, flaky, paper-like bark. It is a great option for hedging, and its yellow-green catkins, which appear in mid-spring to early-summer, are a source of pollen for bees.
Its adaptability to a range of soil types and conditions, including poor, sandy soils and coastal environments, makes it a gardener's dream. The tree also produces small, inconspicuous flowers followed by attractive red fruits that birds are attracted to the nectar over the spring and summer months.
