Our Plants
Grown locally, seed sourced native species that are strong and thrive into the future.
Phormium cookianum purpurea
Red/purple foliaged seedling form of Phormium cookianum. Slightly smaller in stature, great for a colour contrast in mixed native shelter plantings. They can be grown as an informal hedge or windbreak/shelter, and are especially good for ground cover or shelter in windy, coastal conditions. They are also great as specimen plants. With attractive gracefully drooping long red/purple leaves, this all purpose, low maintenance plant is a great choice for wet or dry, sun or shade, exposed or sheltered.
