Our Plants

Grown locally, seed sourced native species that are strong and thrive into the future.

Coprosma propinqua

A hardy evergreen and suited to full sun to part shade.  They produce berries from January to April that are dispersed by fruit-eating animals. Flowers are borne in clusters at the ends of short branches followed by Blue / White berries that attract birds.  Mingimingi provide habitat and food for many of New Zealand’s native birds and lizards.
