Carex secta

Carex secta is incredibly fast growing and it is most useful for use in enhancing wetlands and ponds. Prefers wet conditions and full sun, but will also tolerate dry shade. Attractive dark brown seed heads in summer. Perfect for streamside, marginal strips, riparian plantings, turn arounds, lanes on farmland.
