Carex Comons “Red”

Found throughout NZ from coastal to subalpine regions, usually in free draining soils in places such as tussock grassland, along side bush tracks and on river flats. Its flowers are inconspicuous and appear on short spikes. A hardy grass and is tolerant of most conditions and easy to grow.
